The receipt is from 1965! And to my understanding the FT2 only came out in 1975! The Camera is definitely an FT2, it says so on it.it also has the permanent hotshoe fitting and the black furniture of the later model FT's! Alleged year of manufacture: 1967 (photographed with a JVC Picsio GM FN 1). One take, one frame, one camera: Nikkormat FTn. He still has the receipts, He bought the FT2 with 10 pre signed monthly cheques of £12! From a dealer in Belfast NI. We were remebering our old cameras the other day, when once more he brought out the FT2 from its cupboard. My Father still has his cherished Nikkormat FT2 in full working order.
